We’ve poured our hearts into this Sri Lanka northern trails odyssey, blending the spiritual heritage of ancient capitals with wild safaris and the untouched culture of Jaffna. Every moment is crafted to reveal the island’s hidden treasures, ending with the serene beauty of Trincomalee’s golden shores for a truly remarkable and soulful exploration.

Day 1 - Arrival | Transfer to Anuradhapura

Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by your Paddy Trails representative. Next, begin your journey to the ancient city of Anuradhapura, one of Sri Lanka’s most sacred historical capitals. After check-in at the hotel, relax and prepare to explore this remarkable destination.

Day 2 - Wilpattu Safari | Journey to Jaffna

Early in the morning, enjoy an exciting wildlife safari in Wilpattu National Park. Specifically, Sri Lanka’s largest national park is known for natural lakes, leopards, and elephants. Afterwards, an optional visit to the ancient ruins of Anuradhapura can be arranged before continuing north to Jaffna.

Day 3 - Discover Jaffna’s Cultural Heritage

While in Jaffna, explore the region’s rich cultural landmarks. For example, visit the vibrant Nallur Kandaswamy Kovil, historic Jaffna Fort, and Nagadeepa Purana Vihara temple.

Day 4 - Travel to Trincomalee

After breakfast, depart from Jaffna and travel along Sri Lanka’s scenic northern coastline to Trincomalee. In addition, you may choose an optional dolphin watching excursion in the clear waters of the Indian Ocean.

Day 5 - Relaxation on Trincomalee Beach

Day 6 - Return to Negombo

After breakfast, travel back to the coastal town of Negombo and check in at the hotel. Finally, depending on your flight schedule, proceed to the airport for your onward journey.
