Upon arrival in Sri Lanka, you will be warmly welcomed by your Paddy Trails representative, who will then escort you to Wilpattu. Check in at your hotel and take time to relax and settle in.

This morning, we will explore Anuradhapura, one of the sacred ancient cities. Our visit includes the Isurumuniya Temple, the Sacred Bodhi Tree (Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi), Ruwanwelisaya, Mihintale, and the gold garden.

Afterward, we will return to the hotel. In the evening, we will embark on a game drive in Wilpattu National Park.

Our journey begins with an embarkation to Matale. En route, we will visit the Ritigala monastery, where you have the option to participate in a meditation program. Additionally, an optional stop can be made along the way to witness the Sigiriya rock fortress or the Dambulla cave temple.

Upon arrival in Matale, we will check in at the hotel and take time to relax.

After breakfast, we will explore Riverston. The exploration includes a scenic walk to Pathana Ella, a remote waterfall. This route passes an abandoned village and the Sera Ella waterfall. We will arrange a picnic lunch near the waterfall so you can enjoy the stunning scenery. Afterwards, we will transfer back to the hotel.

After an early breakfast, we will travel to Kandy to witness the Temple of the Tooth Ceremony, a Buddhist prayer ritual scheduled for 9:30 AM. Following the ceremony, we will visit the Gem Museum, where you can see the world-famous Blue Sapphires. From there, we will proceed to Mahiyanganaya to check in at our hotel.

We begin the day early with a breathtaking sunrise boat ride on Sorabora Wewa—a truly unmissable experience. Breakfast will be arranged at the location, set on a rocky viewpoint overlooking the reservoir.

Afterward, we will visit the stunning Rathana Ella waterfall for a refreshing time. We will then proceed back to the hotel. In the evening, you have the optional opportunity to visit Sri Lanka’s Aborigines, or the Veddha people, meaning “people of the forest.”

While traveling from Mahiyanganaya to Haputale, there are a few unmissable spots. Be sure to visit Lipton’s Seat and Diyaluma Waterfall, which holds the distinction of being the second tallest waterfall in Sri Lanka. Also, don’t overlook The Devil’s Staircase; it’s more than just a hike—it’s a deep dive into some of the most stunning scenery the island has to offer.

After breakfast, we will travel to Belihuloya, where your two-night stay will be focused on exploring the area’s natural beauty. Activities include visiting Baker’s Bend for panoramic views and seeing picturesque spots like Surathali Ella. You will also have the opportunity to go kayaking on the Samanalawewa Reservoir and witness the sunset at Bambarakanda Waterfalls.

Upon arrival from Kithulgala today, prepare for an exciting white water rafting experience. This adventure includes confidence jumps and natural water slides in the jungle pools and streams.

Following the exciting activities in Kithulagala, our final destination is Negombo. Here, you can indulge in a delicious seafood dinner and relax, ready for your flight tomorrow.
